The cruise ships dock right at the doorstep of Old San Juan, a seven-block area packed with historical and cultural sights which include Gothic churches, restored colonial buildings, townhouses with inner courtyards and wrought-iron balconies, museums, art galleries, bou-tiques, plazas, fountains and gardens. An information center is conve-niently located beside Pier 1 inside (1) La Casita (the little house) and is an ideal starting point for a self-guided walking tour of these historic streets and fortifications. Refreshments can be enjoyed along the way at various restaurants and sidewalk cafes, or from street vendors who seli bottled water and sof t drinks. Piraguas (fruit-flavored snow cones) and helados (coconut and pineapple ices) are popular with the locals.

San Juan’s main cruise port is located adjacent to the walled city; its secondary cruise pier (Frontier Pier) is two miles east of the main port. in between the airport and the cruise piers lie the hotel-lined beaches of Isla Verde, Ocean Beach and Condado, where the majority of passen-gers stay if spending extra time in San Juan before or after their cruise. Two hotels located right in Old San Juan are the El Convento (a former convent) and the new Wyndham Old San Juan Hotel on the harbor front. Tourist taxis are painted white and they offer fixed rates (per car) to and from tourist zones. The fare from the airport to Isla Verde is $8, to Condado is $12, and to the cruise piers in Old San Juan is $16. The fare from Isla Verde to the cruise piers is $16 and from Condado is $10. The fare from Frontier Pier to Old San Juan is about $10.

San Francisco is one of the most densely populated cities in America. San Francisco is a colorful cosmopolitan city. San Francisco is one of the most favored destinations for tourists from around the world. The city is known for its hills. The attractions in San Francisco are Exploratorium, Fisherman’s wharf, Chinatown, north beach, Alamo square Alcatraz, cable cars, golden gate bridge, Japanese tea garden, and red-and-white ferry.

Orlando is located in the center of the state of Florida. It is one of the major cities in the state. Orlando is well renowned for its world class tourist attractions especially the Walt Disney World Resort Complex. The other attractions in Florida include The Universal Studios Entertainment Complex, Discovery Cove, Typhoon Lagoon, Epcot Center, Orlando Sea World, Gatorland, Airboat Rides, Theme Dinner Theaters, Sports Fishing and golf.

Nashville is the capital of the American state of Tennessee. Nashville is Tennessee’s 2nd most populated city only behind Memphis. The city is located in the middle of the state and on the banks of the Cumberland River. Nashville despite being a small city is a main hub for the publishing, banking, transportation, health care and music industries. The city of Nashville has been nicknamed the “music city” and is considered as the world’s capital of Country Western Music. Belle Meade plantation, Ryman Auditorium, music square, Opryland and the Wild Horse Saloon are some of the most sought after tourist destination in Nashville.
