San Juan Puerto Rico - Historical Values

San Juan, a busy base port for Caribbean cruises, is also one of the best-preserved ports of colonial Spain. St. Thomas Travel Guide Part 1

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

St. Thomas is the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, encompassing just over 19,000 acres of land, and is home to the capital of the islands, Charlotte Amalie. The largest hotel/condo complex right in Charlotte Amalie is the Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort which looks out over the Charlotte Amalie Harbor. The Frenchman’s Cove is a timeshare property on the Marriott grounds consisting of two bedroom, 2 bathroom condos-with kitchens. These condos are right next to the Frenchman’s Cove beach. The beach here has chaise lounges and umbrellas for sun bathing delight. This beach, however, has some natural coral in the area that makes wading a bit difficult with bare feet, so some people prefer to visit the Morning Star beach that is next to the Morning Star Marriott properties, which is accessible by shuttle from the Frenchman’s Cove. Some condos contain balconies, which overlook the Harbor, where families can watch the sun set, and the cruise ships slip in and out of port when they visit the island. The Frenchman’s Cove area contains a pool(with bar), hot tub, and the aforementioned beach.
