United Airlines kicked off their “Winter Welcome” airfare sale, and for persons of us who are just early to deal including cold weather this week, the timing seems pretty perfect. The sale features airfare as low as $49+ all-way to/from cities crosswise the country. A 14-day advance hold is required, and deals are excellent for Monday – Thursday and Saturday travel from December 2, 2009 to Development 9, 2010. As is often the case, though, there are blackout dates nearly the holidays (”Travel is not permitted linking December 18, 2009 and January 4, 2010.”).
